The Valisafe Seal Check is for use as a routine monitor of a sealing device and for operational qualification within the framework of process validation in accordance with ENISO 11607-2 2006
It is used to ensure optimal sealing seams are achieved by the heat sealing machine by monitoring sealing time, temperature and pressure.
In accordance with EN ISO 11607-2 the sealing seams must show the following
1. Intact sealing for a specified seal width
2. No channels or open seals
3. No punctures or tears
4. No material delamination or separation
The Valisafe seal check ensures that the above properties are fulfilled and therefore a subjective (i.e. purely visible) interpretation of the sealing seam is avoided and human error excluded.
The test should be performed daily at the beginning of the working day and recorded as part of the CSSD record systems for the entire decontamination process.
